Event: Feast of St Pancras - May Fayre

The fabulous Feast of St Pancras May Fayre, organised by Southover Bonfire Society, returns to Lewes Priory Park on May 20 2017 for the ninth year with fun for all the family. Attractions include: sword play from fearsome re-enactors Spears of Andred and Swords of Albion; learning all about Lewes Priory's Community medieval garden; having a go at firing mini crossbows; putting family and friends in the wet stocks; rolling the swede; smashing crockery; exploding bombs; splatting the rat; swinging in Victorian swingboats high in the sky; having your fortune told by Princess Aura; arts and crafts; eating incredible wood fired pizzas, home made cakes and other tasty goodies; drinking plenty of Harveys; listening to Cool Hand Ukes and so much more. Entry is just £2.50 and kids under 12 go free. The fun takes place from 10.30am until 4pm. Entry via Cockshut Road, Southover, Lewes, BN7 1HP. Close to Lewes railway station too.
